Pencil holder - solution to artists' problems

A pencil holder helps greatly organize your art supplies. Pencils need sharpening, erasers run out and turn into unusable trash. But this smart gadget aims to change all that by solving all three problems at once.

The main function is to help you use up leftover pencils

Simply insert the pencil into the center cavity

The adjustable eraser serves as a backstop, allowing you to move the pencil portion back and forth depending on its length. Additionally, the back of the holder (usually where you would find the eraser) has a sharpener.

With this device you will never lose your sharpener!

Really very convenient

Admittedly, several potential criticisms come to mind. First, someone using this device will have to deal with an extra step to access the eraser. Secondly, the holder is necessarily wider than a pencil, so it will take some getting used to with such a tool. Third, the length of the eraser depends on the length of the pencil, so storing a lot of extra erasers can be problematic.

But overall, the idea is not bad and has a right to exist. The instrument is available in Teak, Black, Wild Olive, African Padakuk and Indonesian Mahogany.

A long-delayed post about various office stuff. It all started with the fact that I had a plan item “buy an extension cord for pencils”. I went to Amazon to look at them and they started showing me all sorts of other nice things, and I completely went on a spree. Now I’ll show you all sorts of things, rejoice with me - there’s both useful and stupid :) (I’ve put links to pictures everywhere, don’t ask where to find this :))

The first thing I typed was pencil holder. and what I got was not what I wanted at all, but this glass for pencils and pens. Isn't it lovely? :)

Then I saw a bunch of sets of sticky notes in the shape of vegetables and fruits - ahhh, now I want them!
This is an orange, and it even has a protective mesh :)

And these are strawberry stickers

And these are funny sticker papers with bubbles for thoughts :) They also have bubbles for words.

Houses! I need this with my love for small houses! You can play with them and decorate the table, and at the same time use pieces of paper. These are not considered for notes, but to mark places in the book :)

Tetris stickers! How nostalgic :)

And I remember about these, all the design sites showed them - sticky notes with leaves. It’s funny, I guess pawning books. But there are few of them in the set! There are only 20 pieces and they sell for a lot of money.

But this is extremely difficult for me to refuse :) Ginkgo leaves!

I was reading all sorts of pencil reviews and suddenly came across a mention of a super sharpener that gives a long cone to the pencil and an excellent sharp end. It has two holes - in one there is a sharpener - it sharpens only the wood to such an ideal cone, and in the second the lead itself is sharpened. They sell to her replaceable blades, become dull - you can change it. But in this version, a little more expensive than the usual one, there are also sharpeners for leads in mechanical pencils - two diameters - 2 mm and thick. Now I want it and put it on my wishlist for my next purchase.

And this is a battery-powered washing machine :) We’ve become completely lazy and don’t even want to move our hands.
On the other hand, there are comic artists who draw an awful lot - and if you can save your hand for moving a pencil, and give the fluttering of the eraser to the battery - that’s great!

This thing is terribly useful. Natalya recommended her to me conjure . It is a fixative for pencil and charcoal drawings. The trick with it is that it leaves the surface working. You can continue to draw, you can erase - but the work does not smudge. It's a godsend for soft pencil drawings. The main thing in use, I read from Western comrades - do not put the album on the floor and do not splash it on top. It is better to apply fixatives to vertically placed drawings (you can also use them on inclined ones). Lay something down or do something outside. Then large drops, if they suddenly appear, will fall down the road, and a finely suspended spray will fall on the leaf itself.

Well, that’s what I actually went to look at :) There are a lot of extension holders for pencils there, it’s dizzying.
I liked this one. True, it is not so much an extension cord as a fuse. But it works great with small leftover pencils. Firstly, the sharp, sharpened end can be put into the holder and thrown into a bag or pocket and it will remain working.
Secondly, take it out and plug it in with the non-working end - it will be an extension cord.
Thirdly, turn out bottom part- and there is a portable sharpener.
Plus a clothespin. You can take a notebook, hang a pencil on the cover and start sketching.

Here's a super expensive extension cord from Stadtler. Limited Night Edition of blue color. Japanese. With washer, holder and window for softening the pencil. Beautiful, of course - for that kind of money?

But not a limited one, but a regular one of the same shape, metallic color. And it costs six times less.

Or buy a simple and working one from Koh-i-nor?

I couldn’t choose a holder, but I had fun. What about you? did you like anything?
I'll do the next entertaining review with different Easter things.
