How to put up a gazebo at your dacha with your own hands. A simple gazebo with your own hands - everything ingenious is simple! Interior design of an inexpensive gazebo with barbecue

Gatherings with guests, dinner with family fresh air, rest after working in the garden - an economy class summer gazebo will be very useful to you in any of these situations. It is not always advisable to make it large-scale and spacious; in most cases, a small and budget building is enough, which will delight you and your guests.

Classic sizes of a summer gazebo

The optimal size of a small summer gazebo is 3 by 3 meters. This is enough for both a family circle and a small group of people.

Today's problems sound like this:

  • How to build a budget summer gazebo with your own hands?
  • What materials can it be made from? summer construction at the lowest cost?
  • How much would such construction cost?

This publication will discuss step by step process construction with photos and videos small gazebo made of timber with dimensions of 3 by 3 meters. This option is one of the cheapest and most practical for construction, but if for some reason it does not suit you, at the end of the publication I will provide links to similar articles on construction.

Before taking active steps, I suggest studying the final result of the work and its technical characteristics.

Majority budget gazebos it is built according to the same principle, the consumption of materials is also approximately the same, but still I would like to emphasize this - it is important to understand what and from what we are going to build.

Technical characteristics of the finished gazebo

The photo is shown to the right of the characteristics. When you click on the photo, it will open in a larger size.

The final result of construction

  • Material: Beam 100 by 100 mm;
  • Dimensions: 3 by 3 meters;
  • Foundation: columnar (made of bricks);
  • Roof: single slope;
  • Roof: euro slate (ondulin), but more can be used a budget option- corrugated sheeting;
  • Wall cladding: oriented strand board (OSB);
  • Floor: board 40 by 100 mm “magpie”;
  • Painting: antiseptic Senezh Ultra in 3 layers.

The materials used for construction are the simplest and cheapest. However, they are quite enough for a reliable and strong building that will last for many years and withstand hundreds of rains.

Foundation

For such a structure, a columnar foundation was chosen. He represents nine brick pillars, which are the basis for the entire gazebo. The foundation construction process is as follows:

  1. 9 holes are dug with a depth of 70 cm;
  2. The first 30 cm are covered with sand (ideally, put some crushed stone at the bottom) and compacted;
  3. The remaining 40 cm is filled with construction waste and filled with concrete;
  4. Two bricks (ideally fired ceramic red) are laid on top of the concrete;
  5. A layer of bitumen is applied on top of the bricks and, ideally, a sheet of roofing felt is laid.

Ready-made foundation pillars

Such a foundation is extremely reliable for small buildings. A summer gazebo is an ideal building for such a foundation. Therefore, it was he who was given preference during construction.

Bottom harness

A lower frame is laid on top of the foundation, which consists of wooden blocks fastened together. The beams are fastened to each other “into the floor of the tree.” The connection must first be treated with an antiseptic or bitumen. Four self-tapping screws are screwed onto the connections for security.

In addition to the four beams around the perimeter, one additional one is installed in the center - the so-called “log”. In the future, it will be needed to attach the floor board to the frame (more on this in the chapter on flooring).

Finished bottom harness

Posts and top trim

Pillars are installed on the lower frame, which will serve as the basis for the walls and the top frame. Four posts are installed at the corners of the gazebo, and one additional post is installed next to the entrance at the height of the railing.

The height of the front pillars is 230 cm, the height of the rear pillars is 200 cm. This is done for the further construction of the roof slope.

Fastening the poles to metal corners

The top trim consists of two beams installed parallel to each other on top of the pillars. The fastening is identical to the bottom trim - into the floor of the tree.

Installed poles and top trim

Erection of the roof and laying of the roof

The whole process will be more clearly described in the form of a step-by-step approach:

  1. On top bottom trim we fasten 9 rafters in increments of 30 cm;
  2. We install 9 boards parallel to the rafters, also in increments of 30 cm;
  3. If you did everything exactly according to the instructions, then you should have a roof in the form of lattice;
  4. We lay sheets of ondulin or corrugated sheets on top of the roof, depending on your capabilities.

Rafters

Lathing

The rafters are attached to the frame using metal corners and screws. It turns out quite reliable design, which can withstand not only the roof, but also winter snow.

Finished roof

Floor

After installing the pillars, you can begin laying the floor. You will need about 30 3m long boards, some of which will need to be fitted to fit the posts. The floor is attached with self-tapping screws to the bottom trim and the joist in the center.

The secret to a level floor is to place the first board level. If you succeed, then the process will be more fun.

Finished floor

Railings and OSB cladding

For the railing, a beam with a section of 50 by 50 mm is used, which is attached to a height convenient for people. In addition to the timber, it will be necessary to install additional supports on which the oriented strand board will be attached in the future. All this is clearly shown in the photographs that will be presented below.

Fastening railings to corners

Finished railings

The OSB board is fastened with self-tapping screws, plus it is additionally pressed down with bars in the center. This creates not only reliability, but also additional aesthetics.

Laying the first OSB boards

A few words about antiseptic and paint

Proposed option inexpensive gazebo It turned out to be extremely beautiful and effective. The main secret lies in a well-chosen color, which plays in contrast between the dark and light shades of the wood.

You can use your own options for protecting the tree, but the owner of this building recommends antiseptic Senezh Ultra, which is applied to three layers. This will allow you to achieve reliable protection wood and beautiful appearance.

Photos of summer gazebos

Wooden gazebo with decor for summer holiday

In one of the publications on our website, we examined in detail the diversity summer gazebos made not only from wood, but also from other building materials.

View options with different types and design, as well as pick up some idea for your dacha, you can follow the link below.

Options for building other structures

By various reasons This construction option is not suitable for everyone. In view of this, I offer you construction instructions similar in writing style, which also clearly and clearly explain the process of building a gazebo with your own hands.

Several links are provided below.

Among the presented options, all buildings are made of wood and in a fairly budget format. Any elite Construction Materials supposedly decorative plaster or wild stone not used here.

A gazebo is an integral part of many suburban and summer cottages, as it is perfect for a comfortable pastime in nature. She is included in the majority landscape projects, and today consumers are presented with a huge selection of forms and models of this structure. However, most original designs are obtained with independent work. How to build a gazebo with your own hands, without spending a lot of time and effort, we will talk in this article.

Choosing a location and type of gazebo

Before starting construction, it is necessary to study the landscape of the site and highlight the most appropriate place for the future building. It is better to choose a quiet and cool place, perhaps near a body of water.

Then you need to decide on the type and type of gazebo. Decide for yourself for what period you need the structure. If vacation on the site is planned exclusively for summer period, then in this case a temporary structure is suitable, subject to disassembly during cold weather. If outdoor recreation is expected throughout the year, then it is advisable to erect a high-quality structure that is not afraid of temperature changes.

Material for future design can serve:

  • tree;
  • reinforced concrete;
  • brick and foam blocks;
  • metal constructions.

Of course, for self-construction Wood is best. It's affordable and inexpensive material, which does not require special operating skills.

Foundation

As with most structures, a gazebo requires a foundation. Since the structure is quite light, a strip or screw foundation is perfect for it. If the soil is difficult, then you will have to make a monolithic foundation.

Before starting work, you should carry out preliminary preparation plot for construction. All large debris and vegetation must be removed, including tall grass. The top soil layer is also removed to a depth of approximately 10 cm.

Strip foundations are more suitable for light, stable soils. Manufacturing strip foundation consists of digging a trench up to 1.5 meters deep along the perimeter of the future structure, installing formwork and pouring a concrete mixture reinforced with reinforcement.

Screw pile foundation make it easier. It is more suitable for clayey, mobile soils. In this case, it is enough to drill iron screw piles at the required points as supports. Of course, first you will need to carry out preliminary calculations.

The piles will subsequently serve as the basis for the future floor. They are tied with timber with a section of 50x100 mm.

Floor

It is recommended to make the floors in the gazebo from 100x30 mm edged boards, impregnated with a special solution that protects against moisture penetration. The final stage When installing the floor, the surface will be varnished. At the location of the fireplace or barbecue, the board must be protected with sheets of stainless steel or pave with stone. For ease of use of the gazebo, steps are installed to smooth out the difference in floor height relative to the ground.

Walls

After the foundation and floors are ready, they proceed to the construction of walls and partitions. If construction is carried out from wood and timber, then the wood must be treated with means of protection against moisture and fungal infections. This will significantly extend the life of the structure.

Stone masonry with a thickness of half a brick or a brick is carried out according to the usual pattern. The inside may need to be coated with paint to give it a more noble appearance. For this purpose, coatings designed for facade works. Alternatively, you can cover the walls with slats or timber.

Roof

One of the main stages of construction is the construction of the roof. For a light structure, a roof with two or four slopes is most suitable, thanks to which all precipitation will roll down and not linger on the structure. This will allow the roof to last a little longer. Dirt will also not linger on it.

To make a gable roof, it is necessary to erect 4 rafters from each side of the building, which will be connected by a beam at the highest point. They are additionally attached to each other and to the strapping beam with slats.

When hipped roof rafters are installed at the four corners, additional beams are attached in the middle of each side.

Sheets of plywood are laid on the rafters, and then bitumen shingles are laid on them. The ridge is decorated with a corner of tin or parts of a tile. Drainage drains are installed along the contour of the roof, through which melt and rainwater will flow freely.

Frames different types roofs for gazebos are shown in the photo below:

Additional work

After the gazebo has acquired its final form, they move on to interior decoration and filling it with pieces of furniture.

Note! If a light source is needed in the gazebo, then it is laid from the house open wiring using corrugation and ceramic fasteners.

A self-made gazebo will delight the whole family and friends for many years, making outdoor recreation convenient and comfortable.

A dacha is a place primarily for summer holidays, where children can safely walk outside all day, eat healthy fruits and vegetables straight from the garden, and adults have pleasant gatherings over barbecue or just a cool cocktail away from the bustle of the city. It is for such gatherings that you need to have at least a small but comfortable gazebo. An inexpensive gazebo for a summer house with your own hands in a short time is not a myth, but a real reality! We'll look at what it can be made from in this article.

Materials for the gazebo

You can make a gazebo with your own hands from the following materials:

Price finished product will depend not only on the materials chosen, but also on the complexity of the project. An ordinary quadrangular gazebo will be cheaper than a hexagonal one or a non-standard author's design. Any construction must begin with a drawing, selection of materials and coordination of the project with the relevant authorities. Even if you want to make a small garden gazebo with a barbecue for yourself, despite the ownership of the site, it is not recommended to build it without approval, since if the rules are violated, the structure may be forced to be demolished, and the owner may be fined for unauthorized construction.

Wooden gazebos

The design of a wooden gazebo can be as simple as four supporting pillars with a roof, and complex, including carved elements, curves, more angles and flooring.

Cover wooden gazebos usually wood, but reeds, slate, metal profiles or other roofing materials may well be used.

Advantages of wooden gazebos:

Metal gazebos

- the second most common type of these structures. This includes gazebos made entirely of metal, as well as combined structures with a metal base (skeleton) or forged ones.

There is nothing particularly difficult in creating a metal gazebo, but unlike a wooden one, its cost is much higher due to the cost of materials, and the base (pillars) of the structure must be concreted, which makes the process longer. Of course, in some cases when correct layout the structure can be welded and buried in the ground, and the foundation (floor) can be completely absent, but then it is not entirely clear why it was necessary to work with such a difficult-to-work material...

Any materials can be used for the roof and floor.

Advantages of metal gazebos:

Brick gazebos

If you know exactly where you want to see a gazebo, your house is built of brick and you would be glad to have a solid composition on the site, then ideal material For a garden gazebo, a brick will serve. Of course, the construction of such a structure will require a lot of time and money, but its comfort completely compensates for all this.

Advantages of a brick gazebo:

Polycarbonate gazebos

In recent years, awnings and awnings have become increasingly popular. There is nothing strange about this, since the designs are attractive and have a good margin of safety. Of course, they are more expensive than wooden ones and cannot be called cheap. But it is quite possible to do it yourself, using metal or wood as a base.

You should approach waterproofing the cut sheet very carefully and responsibly. When exposed to water, polycarbonate darkens, which negatively affects its aesthetic appeal.

Any materials can be used as a foundation. Polycarbonate itself is excellent as a roofing and wall material.

Advantages of polycarbonate gazebos:

You can also find ready-made small inexpensive polycarbonate gazebos on sale:

Prefabricated gazebos

You can buy ready-made prefabricated gazebos. Their price fully corresponds to the quality, and the ease of installation is ahead of all the above-listed designs that you can do yourself.

Most often, ready-made gazebos are awnings or awnings, which can be equipped with various kinds of walls made of the same material that covers the roof. These walls can be equipped with “windows” made of durable transparent plastic, mosquito nets and doors with zippers or Velcro.

The price of the simplest awning without walls starts from 3500 Russian rubles and depends on the quality of materials used and dimensions.

Advantages of ready-made prefabricated gazebos:

Foundation (floor) for a gazebo

You can build a gazebo cheaply if you do not plan to make it for any weather and protect it from rain and wind from the sides and floor. The big savings will be the lack of a foundation for this structure.

If you still decide to make a gazebo for any weather with your own hands, it is better to make the foundation from concrete using reinforcement. This design will last for several decades. But in terms of price and labor costs, this option is, of course, not the cheapest.

A cheap gazebo with a floor can be made from almost any available material or using wood. It is enough to dig a few beams and lay a foundation on them, as is done in wooden houses, or make a base using boards with a thickness of 40 mm. The floor is installed on them. With the right approach and quality materials, such a garden gazebo will be in use for two or more decades. However, the more expensive the materials and the better the quality of workmanship, the closer in cost wooden base gazebos to cement foundation, and in some cases it may be even more expensive. For example, when using larch or cedar.

Of course that's not all possible options foundation for a gazebo, but the simplest and most frequently used. You can do without it at all and just make the floor from paving slabs or boards. This will be sufficient if the base of the structure is well concreted.

So the choice of materials for the foundation of the gazebo with your own hands should be made based on the owner’s preferences and budget.

Gazebo with barbecue

If the design of your gazebo includes the use of a barbecue on its territory, then take care of fire safety:

Gazebo decoration

A gazebo at the dacha is not only a place to relax. Sometimes she becomes full-fledged room to celebrate an event. In such cases, the same materials that are usually used to decorate any other festive premises will help to decorate the gazebo: balloons, textiles, fresh and artificial flowers.

Real or forged ones can become a chic decoration for any gazebo. decorative elements. Both are suitable for any building, regardless of the materials used for construction.

Every owner has a wood saw that is convenient for working. The good old “Friendship” is ideal, the only drawback is that you need 1 more auxiliary worker so as not to spend the whole day preparing materials. It is also advisable to have some vehicle, which can transport a large number of branches and tree trunks. Trolley, car trailer, comfortable car – your choice. The props are ready, the work begins.

Step 1 We are landing.

“So this is illegal!” - you say. In fact, we don’t need green trees, and we need to protect nature, no matter how. We go to the forest for dry trunks and trees - they will be more useful, and we will not cause harm to the environment. The ideal time for a “walk” is after a good hurricane. Then all poorly standing and dry trees will take a horizontal position, and the wet wood will remain in its proper form. We take a saw and extract 25 trunks with a diameter of 20 centimeters and a length of 3 m(more is possible, depending on what kind of gazebo you want).

Step 2 Wood processing.

We clean the “prey” from the bark and leave it outside to dry (if necessary) for 10-15 days. You don’t have to dry it - there won’t be much difference, since it is intended for the floor anyway, fluctuations in its density will in no way affect the quality of installation or durability.

Step 3 Laying.

We will need 8 cinder blocks and several meters of strong wire or rope. Cinder blocks are ours concrete base. Its length is 40 centimeters, which means we take it, dig a hole 70 centimeters deep, and pour small crushed stone on the bottom. Now we lower the cinder block vertically, immediately place another one on it, and cover it with earth. As a result, we get a strong column that looks out of the ground by 15-25 centimeters. We put 2 trunks between the columns, which are placed close together (the width of the gazebo), and 2 along between the cinder blocks, and tie everything into a “square” with wire. Now we wind or nail other trunks along, choosing the most suitable side of the log.

Building a gazebo with your own hands will be much cheaper if you do not treat the logs with anti-corrosion mixtures, the cost of which is steep. It is best to simply limit the access of moisture to the wood, raise it higher from the ground and choose a material with the largest number resin The floor will last at least 15 years.

Columns and sheathing

Now we will look at how to build a gazebo with your own hands without spending a lot on columns and sheathing. Although, you still have to spend some money here. You need to buy a level and wooden beam 50x50 mm. You can traditionally make a sheathing from branches, but it does not look very neat, and it is better to resort to such measures as a last resort.

Step 1 We put up columns.

For this purpose, we will use a ready-made trunk, which was left after making the floor. We just put it in the corner, fasten it to the floor with nails so that it doesn’t wobble, and do this with all 4 columns. We nail the harness. A board 10x2 cm long and equal to the side of the gazebo is suitable for it. We fix the first at a height of 80 centimeters, the second - 200 cm, while the column should be 250 cm.

Step 2 Lathing.

It's easy to make. You will need a wooden beam to make the logs (the width between them should not exceed 100 centimeters). Every 50 centimeters we fill the crossbars and drill 4-5 mm holes in them for subsequent threading of the wire.

Step 3 We open it with varnish.

The cross members must be treated with any anti-corrosion mixture, since they can often get moisture in small quantities. The service life will be significantly reduced.

The construction of gazebos may turn out to be even cheaper if you use ordinary trunks 5-6 cm thick instead of purchased sheathing logs, but working with them is very difficult. It is necessary to select perfectly even branches so that the roof is as neat as possible in appearance and does not mow anywhere.

We are building a roof

Before you make a gazebo with your own hands, you need to think about what the roof will be made of. It can be made from almost any material, even roofing felt, but everything requires money. There are several other free options, one of which is reeds. Your gazebo will look in the old Russian style, and its appearance will be very impressive. This is the option we will now consider.

Step 1 We prepare the material.

Let’s say the dimensions of your gazebo are 3x3 meters, which means that reeds need to be extracted about 190 centimeters long(distance per slope + protrusion). There is plenty of such goodness near every body of water, we take a pruner and go to prepare the material. We collect only straight stems.

Step 2 Binding.

If we are building a gazebo with our own hands in good faith, we must do everything “by the book” so that the surface does not leak. We wind each stem with fishing line, and make sure that the direction of the leaves is in one direction. The ideal thickness of a reed “briquette” is 3-4 stems, although, if tied tightly, even 2 stems are enough.

- a task that requires some construction skills. There are many options for construction, but if you plan to do it on your own, then you should choose simple projects. Next, we will describe in detail the technology of how to make a gazebo with your own hands; photos will help us illustrate each stage of construction.

Preparatory activities - choosing a project

There should be a gazebo on the site! Perhaps, then we can begin to describe the construction process, and tell you step by step how to make a gazebo with your own hands. But …

First you need to decide on the project. Without a doubt, small architectural form should be beautiful, practical, comfortable, reliable, functional, resonate with the overall architectural ensemble and fit harmoniously into landscape design plot. Ideally, this should be not just an outbuilding for comfortable outdoor recreation, made “hay so,” but also a real decoration of the garden plot.

Making a gazebo for a summer house allows you to show your imagination

Forms

And open ones: classic ones with a roof and parapet, awnings, mini portable structures, collapsible tents with an awning roof and sometimes the same canopy walls, swing gazebos. And, of course, all sorts of original designs, the production of two-story gazebos is especially in demand, they do something like summer kitchen, sometimes the room is adapted into a garage, and on top there is a viewing platform, a place for relaxation and gatherings.

When choosing a project, do not forget that a gazebo is a decoration garden plots, and not the dominant architectural ensemble

Dimensions

The size of the gazebo directly depends on what functionality it will be endowed with, and how much area of the site you plan to allocate for construction. Here we will clarify just a few circumstances that are important for choosing the size:

  • If personal plot is small and the gazebo is needed for relaxation of 4-6 people, then it is better to opt for the manufacture of a mini-structure, their average dimensions are 1.6 by 2.0 m.
  • In a typical gazebo with dimensions of 2.5*3 m, 3*3 m, you can place both a small barbecue and workplace(kitchen), and make a table for gatherings for 6-10 people.
  • The buildings bigger size Suitable for housing numerous companies, or for closed and combined structures.

Making a simple gazebo with your own hands is not difficult, the main thing is to follow the technology for installing the main components

What to make from

But before you make a gazebo with your own hands according to the drawings, it’s not enough to decide on the shape and dimensions; you need to choose the material for making the building:

  • wood - logs, beams, boards, tree trunks, snags;
  • brick, stone, monolithic concrete, blocks;
  • metal - welded structures made of rolled metal (angles, rectangular and round profiles), forged products;
  • glass and polycarbonate, the frame is usually made from other materials and sheathed transparent sheets: roof, walls protecting from wind and rain;
  • metal profile with PVC shell, as a rule, this is ready-made designs, for which a special platform is made, and then assembled like a construction set.

Of course, the most popular materials for making gazebos are metal and wood. They are quite easy to process if you know how to hold the tools in your hands.

Making a polycarbonate gazebo usually takes 1-3 days

Tree

Is there anything that can compare with the beauty of wood texture, its warmth and special delicate aroma. Wooden country houses fit well into almost any landscape design. There is a recommendation that gazebos should be made in the same style as the main house, so that they do not stand out from general concept site design. Wood goes well with any materials, even if the house is not logged, but is decorated with siding, brick, stone, etc.

Advice: Before making a gazebo at the dacha, the entire tree must be thoroughly soaked with antiseptics and covered with 2 layers of fire-fighting agents.

Making a hexagonal gazebo is not difficult, it is important to make the drawing correctly and accurately transfer it to the area

Most often, wooden gazebos are made with their own hands, since no additional equipment except for tools.

Gazebos made of wood turn out to be especially cozy, conducive to relaxation, they are equally comfortable both on a hot day and in the cold. We invite you to watch how to make a gazebo, a video that shows step by step how you can quickly make a small wooden building.

Metal

Gazebos made of metal are reliable, strong, durable, this material has only one serious enemy - rust, but modern anti-corrosion impregnations, which should be used to treat parts before construction, allow you to forget about this problem.

Today, small forged structures, usually hexagonal in shape, are in demand. They are elegant, airy and create a feeling of lightness; such gazebos do not overload the space and are practically invisible on the site, especially if they are decorated with climbing plants.

Another popular way to make a metal gazebo is to make a welded frame and cover it with polycarbonate. Here it all depends on your needs; it could be a mini barrel gazebo, or a huge canopy.

For the manufacture of wrought iron gazebo you can buy ready-made parts: patterns and grilles

Details

As for the manufacture of the roof, soft roofing is most often used as a roof for gazebos. bitumen shingles, polycarbonate, metal tiles, ondulin.

To decorate the building, they use elements with wood carvings, figured parts - pillars, balusters, wooden lattice, which you can make with your own hands, artistic forging, including individual decorative flourishes and finished sections.

How to make a beautiful gazebo

We will make a garden summer wooden house, covered with a lattice, 4.5 * 4.5 m, under a hip roof.

Making a gazebo with your own hands, like any other construction, begins with preparing the site and laying the foundation. We transfer the drawing to the area and make markings for the foundation. We drive pegs in the corners, pull the rope, check the geometry, the diagonals should be equal.

We make the foundation

Clearing the site and making markings for the foundation

We remove the top fertile layer of soil and dig holes. First in the corners, then divide the distance between them into equal parts, and dig holes around the perimeter. There should be 1.2 -2.0 m between the pits, no more. Depth 0.5 – 0.7 m.

To make the foundation you need to prepare a pillow

We fill the bottom with 0.2 m of crushed stone, 0.2 m of sandstone, and compact it well.

The pillars can be made independently or made from ready-made blocks

We install blocks on the prepared pillow.

It is better to do not only horizontal waterproofing, but also coat the pillars with bitumen

We lay waterproofing, you can coat the blocks with heated bitumen mastic or lay 2 layers of roofing material on them.

How to make a frame

To make the bottom trim, we take timber, preferably glued, with a cross-section of 100*100, 100*150 mm.

Photos show how to make the bottom harness

We saw down the ends into half a log, make recesses for fastening the middle beams. We lay it around the perimeter, secure it with self-tapping screws, and additionally with metal corners.

It is better to make logs from the same timber as the perimeter strapping

We lay the logs inside the structure. We impregnate them with an antiseptic and fire-fighting solution.

A timber with a cross section of 100*100 mm is suitable for making supports.

We install support posts, tighten them onto metal corners so as not to disturb the geometry, and support them with temporary jibs.

It is better to do the strapping first between paired pillars, and then tighten them together

We tighten them along the heads, check the geometry, it will fit edged board with a cross section of 50*100 mm.

When making a frame, constantly check the horizontal level and plumb vertical

We install the middle supports, make a transverse top harness. Laying the floor. Decking or tongue and groove boards are well suited for making floors.

How to make a roof

On the cross strapping, in the center, we attach vertically 2 beams, cross-section 100*100 mm, length 0.9 m, connect them ridge beam, board 100*50 mm. It is better to make rafters and assemble a truss on the ground.

Photo example of how best to make and install ridge beams

We make rafters for our building hanging type, must protrude beyond the building by at least 300 mm, 3 pcs., lift up, attach to the ridge beam.

It is better to make the rafters on a sled so that the roof slides a little when the soil is very heaving

Fastening rafter legs at the corners of the structure.

Good to know: Rafter system For outbuildings according to SNiP it is made from boards 50*150 mm, this is the maximum.

To make the sheathing, you can use OSB or moisture-resistant plywood

We make roof sheathing for the roof. In our case, this is a 60*20 mm rail.

Laying roofing material

How to make wall structures

At a height of 900 mm from the floor, we attach figured railings or regular beams, we cover the resulting frame inside with thinner beams, 20*40 mm, and we get a frame within a frame.

The parapet can be made from balusters

We secure it with a board diagonally. We sew the parapet on top with a batten.

You can make the gratings yourself, you can also close the sides monolithic polycarbonate, or make full glazing

We decorate the upper part of the wall wooden lattice, it will protect from the sun and gusts of wind. We fix a figured corner in the corners of the racks; it does not carry any practical load, it is for beauty. We sew up the base with a mini-fence made from scraps. We paint the gazebo in the desired color. For convenience, we are building a porch.

In the photo how to do it summerhouse made of wood and decorating it is not expensive, but beautiful

And at the end, watch the video on how to make a gazebo with your own hands; from the video you will understand how simple this process is. I must say that this video material will inspire many to create a place to relax in the country. A homemade mini dacha design, convenient, beautiful, ergonomic, it can be done in one day without any help.
